Every episode has their hilarious moments but there is always a well balance between it and romance, which is what many watchers have always been hooked on. The animation is both silly and 90s sophisticated. Emotions are candidly shown through side animations and exaggerated facial expressions which make the viewing all the more of a joyful experience.
It's a fabulous anime indeed. But i still have a bone to pick with it. The ending episode brings in new elements. There is a new love conflict that we never get to see the end of, the jealousy Arima feels is never solved between him and the "new" comer, and the play was never performed. I know Gainax meant to make another season, but decided not to because of "disagreements" but they didn't have to do their fans like that. What do you think?

I can tell you that I cried, laughed, went "awww" you name it! I watched the anime after reading the manga, the manga it's quite long but it's worth the time! I recommend you to read it if you haven't! It's amazing!!!

thanks for the comment. i just realized it was here. i loved this anime series but i hated the ending. it stopped so ubruptly and left so many questions unanswered. I've heard of the manga but i don't usually read manga lol. i heard she gets pregnant or something. how is the ending in the manga different than that of the anime? i'm glad you liked my review, i'll have to do some more. the next one will probably be on "Paprika".
