"Toy story" 3 (5 stars)
This movie was everything and more than i expected. The makers flawlessly incorporated the personalitites from the prequals of this movie staying true to each characters origninality and voice talents. they were even able to incorporate new characters that were just as engaging as the old, with a story that was better than "hooked on phonics". the spin of events were jaw dropping and serious enough for the older crowd to be just as entertained as the young ones. The ride is almost gutt wrenching when anticipating these toys next and maybe final escapade. The "Toy Story 3" story encumpased themes most people go through at some point in time in their life that made the story all worth wild; unwantedness, loyalties,and the strength of a friendship during trials. It was truly a remarkable story for all ages and brought back many childhood memories for me. The movie came out in 3D but there truly was no need to pay the extra money to see it in IMAX. I don't care though....cuz it was DA BOMB!!




"My Little Bride" (Korean) (5stars)
This movie was soooo terrribly adorabale i wasn't able to stand it! The movie is in korean but is quite lovely and shouldn't be pushed aside just because you'll need to read the subtitles to know what they're saying. My heart FORCED me to watch it multiple times, keep it many days past the due date so i could watch it some more and even lend it out to some friends of mine. and EVEN when i returned IT i decided to watch it online. "My Little Bride" is a story about two childhood friends who are almost rivavls. The guy, is in his 20's and in college while the girl is in 9th grade. The're famillies are very close and tied together by the girl's grandfather. At the begining of the movie the girl can't stand the guy but they're is a fearsome turn of events for the BOTH of them sprung from the desires of their "dying" grandfather. I'm sure you can tell by the title that they are to be wed. but this is insane right!!! they're so far apart in age and the girl is ONLY 16. i know what you're thinking. you think in korea they have laws where it doesn't matter what age you are you can get married, right? welll you're wrong. the law states that they can be wed if she is at LEAST 16 with her parents consent. Most of the familly is already FREAKING OUT but the girl is FREAKING out most of all. i won't give the whole thing away, you'll have to see what crazy events arise on your own. The story of this underaged bride and her silly husband is both comical, sweet, and noble. I hope you see fit to check it out.

I think that although the concept was fascinating, along with all its elements, the movie did NOT do wonders for me. At a certain point the movie got insanely slow and there was a lack of balance between war and love. Everyone love a good love story but i didn't want to hear about it in an inter galactic movie between blue 9 foot aliens and and a former u.s. soldier with no legs. Not only that, but the relationship just got desturbing at certain points. The scene where the went to the glowing true were the soldier was told he was able to choose a wife from the tribe wasn't that point either. It was when it seemed they were making love. in my mind i was completley perplexed, i couldn't figure out what that scene had to do with the navi soon to come death. I honestly didn't even know they had those organs for that process to happen......just all very disturbing frankly. I believe the movie didn't really have to be that long either. There was absolutley no need to have so much footage on the soldier's process of becoming one of the navi. I think that just took up space. if the creator didn't make it so long he wouldn't have had to spend so much money, its not like it would've made the quality of the movie change. I think that it lacked a bit of origonality in the side of planitariol culture. it likened itself too much to a rural African tribe with all the spiritism, legends, and lack of clothing.

From the creator of the “Titanic”, I believe the movie “Avatar” was made with a masterful concept and a ridiculous amount of time and money. With no particularly famous actors, this movie has become the best selling movie around. It is widely acclaimed for its imaginativeness, scenery, animation, life like wild life, and technique.
The movie is an action/love story with a widely used idea of wasteful Americans coming to rid another world from its natural resources, doing anything, even irradiating a civilization, which in itself is a 5 year journey to get to. The planet is a lush forest land connected by one sacred energy source. In previous time, researchers and scientists came to the planet to learn about the indigenous people called the Navi along with learning their ways. However, power hungry business men didn't have the same idea as others. Not only that, but they have a significant piece of the army to help them out. Although the air is toxic to the humans, causing them to be suffocated within 5 minutes, they have managed to take out some of the natives ruthlessly. Therefore, the Navi people want nothing to do with them. At any sight of them in their home land, they take immediate action by taking them out. These warriors that scalp the forest paradise are skilled hunters and can easily take down their human foes.
The Avatar project allows for one to become one of the Navi in appearance and roam the both toxic and beautiful planet unharmed and fully able to breathe. A former soldier, who was injured at war, had been chosen to be in the program was the one to interfere with the Navi to take them down from the inside. By the scientists, he is told to learn them. By the soldiers, he is told to destroy them. Without giving the ENTIRE story away I'll say this.....the soldier is reluctantly befriended by a native and brought to the village to learn their every ways. Walking, sleeping and eating with them, he must decide whether to keep his word to his fellow soldiers or betray the new world and people had come to love.
